NOTICE: Registration deadline is one week before workshop date. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email they provided for registration. Registrant cancellations will be accepted until the registration deadline. A 100% credit will be given for use toward the registration fees for another Central Region Early Learning Connection sponsored workshop within the same grant year of the original workshop.

Description

This session will provide participants with an increased understanding of the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and its value. Participants will learn basic information about the CDA, and the variety of resources available to support the attainment of a CDA.

Objectives
-Participants will learn the Child Development Associate Credential basics
-The advantages of obtaining a CDA will be discussed
-Participants will learn the variety of options available to obtain a CDA.
-Participants will learn the work being done to bridge the CDA credential to additional degree programs.
