NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.  Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class.  Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

DescriptionLearning series (8 modules) for child care center directors. Fulfills the DHHS licensing requirement: 391 NAC Regulation 3 006.08B Child Care Management Training.  Participants must attend all sessions in order.

Module 5 of 8 Effective Workforce

This module explores the various aspects of developing a good and stable workforce for the early childhood program.

• Examine ways to create an effective workforce through personnel policies, job descriptions, and evaluation and hiring practices
• Identify components of developing and sustaining staff
• Describe supervisory models
• Determine staffing patterns

-Please make sure you have a working camera, audio capabilities, and are prepared to engage.
-If you are unable to fully participate or have too many distractions, you will not receive credit for the session.
-Your camera must be on for the entire training session unless the facilitator directs a break with cameras optional.
-Do not drive while attending this training. Children should not be present during the training. 
-Training may be recorded for evaluation purposes and for internal use only.  By joining, you are giving consent for this meeting to be recorded
-Join the Zoom 10 minutes prior to start time. Be on time.
