NOTICE: Registration deadline is one week before workshop date. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email they provided for registration. Registrant cancellations will be accepted until the registration deadline. A 100% credit will be given for use toward the registration fees for another Central Region Early Learning Connection sponsored workshop within the same grant year of the original workshop.

Description

This session will discuss the importance and benefits of choosing and using an early childhood research-based curriculum.

Objectives:
Participants gain understanding of important curriculum characteristics and components to look for when choosing a curriculum.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the importance and benefits of research-based curriculum.
Participants will reflect on how a research-based curriculum can and should support their work with the children and families they serve.
Participants will understand how to find and use resources to assist them in choosing the right curriculum for their learning environments.
