NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

Description

This workshop provides information to support young children's learning in the domain of health and physical development.

Objectives:
To discover the developmental sequence of children's learning in the domains of health and physical development
To examine the differences between gross (large) and fine (small) motor development
To discover strategies to support both gross and fine motor development
To discover ways to promote independent practices for health and safety
To examine how the environment supports health and physical development
To explore ways to promote independent practices for self-care and nutrition
