NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.  Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class.  Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

Module 2 The Business of Family Child Care

This is session two out of four in the Getting Down to Business training series. Participants are introduced to family child care as a business. Topics included in this session are licensing, budgets, organizational strategies, record keeping, and professional development.

• Identify requirements of operating a family child care home business
• Explore factors related to budgeting
• Develop or revise policies and procedures related to operating a family child care business
