NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

Description

This module training will focus on assessing and creating high quality early childhood environments that promote positive outcomes for all children.

Participants will:
1. Be able to describe the relationship between environmental variables, children’s challenging behaviors, and social emotional development.
2. Be able to identify strategies that can be used to design environments, schedules, and routines; structure transitions; help children learn rules and routines; and plan activities that promote engagement.
3. Be able to effectively use positive descriptive feedback to support children’s social development.
4. Make a plan for implementing strategies they learned in the training.
