NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

Description

Learning series (8 modules) for child care center directors. Fulfills the DHHS licensing requirement: 391 NAC Regulation 3 006.08B Child Care Management Training.

Participants must attend all sessions in order.

Module 6 of 8 Supporting Children Center-Wide

Management Training Program - Revised Edition (2024): This module focuses on what early childhood professionals can do to provide guidance and support young children's social/emotional development in the child care setting.

Learning outcomes: Supporting children center-wide a. Explore social emotional learning and the role of adults in its development b. Develop a center-wide guidance policy and accompanying procedures c. Examine the benefits and uses of a center-wide curriculum
