to grow your own curriculum using fall holiday-themed activities, this training
is for you! Using your understanding of
child development, you will create activities which provide opportunities for
learning through play that are developmentally appropriate and won’t break the
bank! Halloween-themed experiences for engaged learning through play, here we
come!
Objectives:
Plan developmentally appropriate activities for preschoolers utilizing a variety of developmentally appropriate (inexpensive) materials/equipment to support:
child choice, exploration, and independence
children's problem solving and self-regulation
children's health, safety, and nutrition.
children's conversations, vocabulary, and writing skills
Opportunities to challenge and enhance children's physical motor development across all curriculum areas.
Use development/milestones to adapt learning experiences to meet the needs of each child and identify strategies for inclusion, as needed
Articulate the importance of play as a learning tool
Articulate and align the skills gained from planned activities with the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines

These sessions are being offered ONLINE via Zoom.

If you are unable to fully participate or have too many distractions, you will not receive credit for the session.
The Zoom link will be sent two days prior to the class.
Materials will be sent one week prior to the class.
Your certificate will be sent via email within 1 week of the class. You are responsible for uploading your certificate to your NECPRS account. |
