DescriptionThis workshop provides information to support young children's learning in the domain of social/emotional development.

Objectives:
To Discover the Sequence of Social and Emotional Development
To Explore the Areas of Social Relations, Self-regulation, and Sense of Self
To Discuss Strategies to Promote Positive, Healthy Relationships
To Examine Social Relationships in Early Childhood
To Discover how Children Develop Knowledge of Families and Communities
To Examine Environments to Support Social and Emotional Development

Required material for class: Nebraska’s Birth to Five Learning and Development Standards

Basic Requirements
-For classes with multiple sessions participants must attend all sessions to receive a certificate.
-Participant must have a working camera per participant, and audio capabilities.
-Participants who are not fully engaged, or have too many distractions, will not receive credit for the session.
-Participants may NOT take class while in a car
The Central Region Early Learning Connection will provide the Zoom link two day prior to each session.
