| Description | | Participants will discuss what a transition strategy is
and why they can alleviate challenging behavior by helping children transition
through the parts of their daily routine/schedule. Participants will make and
practice using three transition strategies:
1. A transition strategy to pair
children.
2. A transition strategy for group
transitions.
3. A transition strategy for
individual needs of children
Objectives
Participants will understand the purpose of transition strategies.
Participants will make and take sample transition strategies using the new Library Childcare resource area.
Participants will practice using transition strategies.
