To explore creativity in early childhood
To examine development related to the creative arts
To explore music and visual arts in early childhood
To discover ways children express themselves through the creative arts
To explore movement and dramatic play in the creative arts
To examine the role of materials and the environment in the creative arts
Core Competency: Planning, Learning Experiences, and Curriculum: Creative Arts
Required class materials: Nebraska Infant-Toddler Learning and Development Standards

The certificate will be automatically uploaded to your Nebraska Early Childhood Professional Record System (NECPRS) account.
Nebraska Department of Education, Office of Early Childhood, Online Participant Requirements:
- Participants must have one working camera per participant and audio capabilities.
- Participants who are not fully engaged or have excessive distractions will not receive credit for the session.
- Your camera must be on throughout the training session unless the facilitator leads a camera-optional break.
- Do not drive while attending this training. Children should not be present during the training.
- The training may be recorded for evaluation and internal use only. By joining, you are consenting to this meeting being recorded.
- Join the Zoom 10 minutes prior to the start time. Arrive on time.
- You must set up a NECPRS account BEFORE the session to receive your certificate. For additional assistance, please contact Dena Johnson at dena.johnson@nebraska.gov.
The Central Region Early Learning Connection will provide the Zoom link two days prior to each session.
