Description | | Description:
This
interactive session will give early childhood educators/providers practical tools and strategies to
better cope with the stress of the profession and with behavior challenges with children.
Grounded in neuroscience, featured by Disney Learning, and created by teachers
with a combined 40 years of teaching experience, Mondo Method is designed to
help anyone dealing with stress and behavior challenges, without adding more
work or stress to their lives.
Objectives:
1. Participants will be able to explain the basic neuroscience
of stress and behavior, including root causes, misconceptions, and common
mistakes in trying to cope with challenges.
2. Participants will be able to describe practical strategies to
effectively navigate difficult situations for themselves and the children they
care for.
3. Participants will be able to describe how they plan to
implement the method in real-world situations through strategies that
match their own personalities, resources, and preferences.
