| Description | | Summer will soon be here! It is time to think about enjoying the outdoors with developmentally appropriate activities that won’t break the bank! Using your understanding of child development, you will create activities which provide opportunities for learning through play. Summer fun experiences for engaged learning through play – what else could you ask for?
Objectives:
• Plan a Developmentally Appropriate Activity for the ages they work with using inexpensive items for outdoor summer fun
• Identify strategies for inclusion as needed
• Articulate the importance of play as a learning tool
• Articulate the skills gained from planned activities
