NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.  Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class.  Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

Description This workshop provides information to support young children's learning in the domain of health and physical development.

Objectives: 
To Discover the Developmental Sequence of Children’s Learning in the Domains of Health and Physical Development
To Examine the Differences between Gross (Large) and Fine (Small Motor Development.
To Discover Strategies to Support both Gross and Fine Motor Development
To Discover Ways to Promote Independent Practices for Health/Safety
To Examine how the Environment Supports Health and Physical Development
To Explore Ways to Promote Independent Practices for Personal Care and Nutrition

Core Competency:   Planning, Learning Experiences and Curriculum - Health and Physical Development

Required material for class: Nebraska’s Birth to Five Learning and Development Standards

CommentsNebraska Department of Education Office of Early Childhood online participant requirements:
-Participant must have a working camera per participant, and audio capabilities.
-Participants who are not fully engaged, or have too many distractions, will not receive credit for the session.
-Your camera must be on for the entire training session unless the facilitator directs a break with cameras optional.
-Do not drive while attending this training. Children should not be present during the training. 
-Training may be recorded for evaluation purposes and for internal use only.  By joining, you are giving consent for this meeting to be recorded
-Join the Zoom 10 minutes prior to start time. Be on time.
-You must set up a NECPRS account BEFORE the session to receive your certificate. For additional help contact Dena Johnson at dena.johnson@nebraska.gov.
