NOTICE: Registration deadline is one week before workshop date. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email they provided for registration. Registrant cancellations will be accepted until the registration deadline. A 100% credit will be given for use toward the registration fees for another Central Region Early Learning Connection sponsored workshop within the same grant year of the original workshop.

DescriptionEste taller proporciona información para apoyar el aprendizaje de los niños pequeños en el ámbito de los enfoques del aprendizaje.

Objetivos:
Examinar la exploración sensorial, el razonamiento y la resolución de problemas en la primera infancia
Explorar el pensamiento de los niños (desarrollo cognitivo)
Examinar el juego como vehículo para el aprendizaje
Explorar el desarrollo de la iniciativa y la curiosidad de los niños
Examinar las etapas sociales del juego de los niños
Descubrir el papel del medio ambiente en los enfoques de aprendizaje de los niños

Competencia básica: crecimiento y desarrollo infantil
Competencia secundaria: planificación, experiencias de aprendizaje y plan de estudios: áreas múltiples

Material requerido para la clase: Estándares de aprendizaje y desarrollo desde el nacimiento hasta los cinco años de Nebraska. To Explore Children’s Development of Initiative and Curiosity
To Examine Children’s Social Stages of Play
To Discover the Environment’s Role in Children’s Approaches to Learning

Secondary Competency:  Planning, Learning Experiences and Curriculum-Multiple Areas
