DescriptionThis workshop provides information to support young children's learning in the area of approaches to learning.

Objectives:
To examine sensory exploration, reasoning, and problem-solving in early childhood
To explore children's thinking (cognitive development)
To examine play as a vehicle for learning
To explore the development of children's initiative and curiosity
To examine the social stages of children's play
To discover the role of the environment in children's approaches to learning
