NOTICE: Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. The registration/payment deadline is one week before the workshop date. Refund Policy: Refunds are only provided when a registration is cancelled at least one week before the workshop date. Refunds must be requested in writing. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Refunds will be provided if the Early Learning Connection cancels the class. Participants will be notified of cancellations due to weather or other circumstances via the email address provided for registration.

Description

Join Kaiti George, Registered Dietitian at Hy-Vee and the University of Nebraska-Kearney, along with her junior and senior-level nutrition students, for a delicious food-themed workshop! They will showcase seven healthy, holiday-inspired snacks that you can incorporate into your child care program.

Objectives:
From Valentine’s Day through Christmas, discover creative ways to make snack time both nutritious and fun using wholesome ingredients.

Each group will present their chosen recipe, explain how it meets childhood nutrition guidelines, and, of course, offer a chance to taste these delicious snacks!
