Description This workshop provides information to support young children's learning in the domain of approaches to learning.

Objectives: 
To Examine Sensory Exploration, Reasoning and Problem-Solving in Early Childhood
To Explore Children’s Thinking (Cognitive Development)
To Examine Play as a Vehicle for Learning
To Explore Children’s Development of Initiative and Curiosity
To Examine Children’s Social Stages of Play
To Discover the Environment’s Role in Children’s Approaches to Learning

Secondary Competency:  Planning, Learning Experiences and Curriculum-Multiple Areas
