Description | | Play is Fun! Play is Important! Learning through exploration and
child-initiated PLAY provides young children the opportunity to gain
deeper understandings of concepts across multiple academic and development
domains. Intentional and appropriate adult-child interaction during play is
vital for increasing learning outcomes.
Participant objectives:
gain a deeper understanding of why play is important.
understand the characteristics of true play.
plan for implementation of true play through use of their environment, daily routine, and interactions.
